Creating has always been in my spirit. It is all about what I have always loved... color, shape, surprise, imagination. From early in my childhood, designing has been my passion; this is who I am.

When I was blessed to become mother to Jaiden Grace in 2001, I found an outlet for the creativity that had been bottled up during my years in corporate America. I started creating unique, one-of-a-kind clothes for Jaiden. I began with original designs using standard stuff off the rack like overalls-- making them fabulous, unique, and one-of-a-kind with vintage hankies, feed sack fabric, and lots of bling.

My beginning wasn't glamorous - not even close. In 2003, I began the journey, working out of my dining room and a friend's garage. But it very quickly started paying off; moms loved my work and the word started to spread. I was creating garments that brightened a child's face and helped create her being... drawing attention to her uniqueness... this is what My Vintage Baby is all about. Since my childhood, this has been my dream.

Our couture line, "Collections by Jessica", quickly became recognized as "a piece of yesterday for the hip child of today." What makes My Vintage Baby clothing and accessories different? Many of the collections are inspired from vintage materials creating a one-of-a-kind look. I use reproduction feed sacks, hankies, chenille, aprons, and tablecloths to embellish the clothing, creating truly unique designs. My vision is to make each garment as unique as the children who wear them! I also have lots of ideas that fall outside the vintage look. We now offer several other collections each season that are not of vintage inspiration; but rather created with a little funk, a lot of glitz, and a fresh new look. Creating special clothing for special girls is what these lifestyle collections are all about.

In Spring/Summer 2008 we also introduced "J" for boys. This fun and funky "Collections by Jessica" line is full of fun and funky play wear for boys which most certainly will be Daddy approved. This fall I had my 3rd child, and second son. I look forward to his inspiration and expanding the boys collections even more in 2009. Our look for boys will definitely allow them to be "All boy- All the time!"

I am amazed as I look back over the last three years. Today, the company now has a corporate office in McKinney, Texas, a corporate showroom in Dallas, as well as phenomenal sales teams in NY, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles. "Collections by Jessica" are sold in almost 600 stores nationwide and amazingly that number is growing each day.

Along with my family, "Collections by Jessica" is my life. I can only imagine what the future holds. Creating special clothing for special girls and boys is what these lifestyle collections are all about.
